Morning dew plays a special role. It provides essential water for insects like these bees before the sun gets too hot. A little hydration station at the Zip Park! 💧🐝

Another fun fact, bumblebees use something called buzz pollination. They vibrate their bodies to shake pollen loose. 🪇

They’ve ziplined with us twice by day at Zip Up Fontanel, but tonight this father-daughter duo took on their first Adventureworks Night Zip. Dark, spooky, and glowing with glow sticks the whole way down. They (and us guides) loved every second. 👻🌙

Want to brave the dark too? We’re running Halloween zips throughout the month! Check the Adventureworks website for times available in your area and come see what the night has in store. 🎃🫶

Ever wonder why chickens roll around in the dirt? 🤔

It’s called a dust bath, and it’s basically a spa day for chickens! Dust baths help them:

- Clean their feathers and remove excess oil
- Prevent mites, lice, and other pests
- Stay cool in hot weather
- Keep their plumage healthy and fluffy

So next time you see a chicken kicking up dust, let em enjoy it! It may seem dirty to us but it’s essential for them. 🤣🛁

While out at Adventureworks, we came across this interesting find! This is Inonotus dryadeus, also known as the oak bracket fungus. 🍄‍🟫

It grows on oak trees and attacks the roots, which slowly kills the tree over time. Since it is a root killer, we went ahead and removed it from the tree to help protect the area.

Always cool to see what nature has going on around the site! 🧐
