Hello friends! My son and I will be helping out at the hot chocolate station at The Yorkshire Deli tomorrow and will have a rock painting table set up for anyone who wants to come paint a rock for Shelley. Hope to see you there!

Victor sure is getting long! Look at some of his cool new rocks.

I have been meaning to explain the Rock Snakes’ names. For some reason I thought to name one Victor. Which made me think of Frankenstein. Stein is the German word for stone. Schlange is the German word for snake. Shlangenstein seemed a good play on Frankenstein. But then Victor Schlangenstein had a sister, and she needed a name, too… and since Mary Shelley wrote “Frankenstein,” Shelley Schlangenstein seemed a good name for the sister. 😊

Look at Victor go!Everybody come to The Land on Sunday and paint a free rock for Shelley!

Hello! Kingston Springs has two new rock snakes, Victor and Shelley! Please help us grow them super long by adding a painted rock to either snake - or both! Shelley lives at The Land on Hwy 70, by the K-Town BBQ silo. Victor lives right outside Turnbull Provisions in downtown KS. They’re a very competitive brother and sister and duo, and they both want lots of rocks!
Feel free to post photos of the rocks you add and the snakes’ progress as they grow.
