Ok, formal introduction:
Hi! I’m CJ Ferguson, I wanted to take a second to highlight one of the many facets of our business G2C Events LLC (Geek 2 Chic Events) and show you a few touches of things we can offer!
My primary portion of the business is Altan Studios. Altan’s original intention has always been film/video but at the heart it is more about networking. We launched Conapalooza TV from there as one of our first major launches. And after the Conapalooza TV rebranding will be turning that into our first podcast series that centers around Conventions, guests, attendees, vendors, and the people who work behind the scenes to make it happen. We want to focus on the heart of Conventions and help them grow as much as they help us.
I also handle video work, editing, and more. One of our specialties that we would love to start bringing to conventions is Digital Images for Cosplay and Guest photo ops! These would be a Digital background added in post that would essentially be framed for the photo with the Guest and attendee. This could be a standard Con Logo backdrop or something cool like a background setting.
Below is a short sample of video work we have shot, edited, and produced and two additional images of Ty Shute’s little dude from the first year of Smoky Mountain Fan Fest for examples of digital photos. I will note that we did not take the original photos or create the backgrounds and hold no bearing of copyrights for the images used to create the digital prints. However did receive expressed permission by the photographer to use the images.
