A huge thank you to everyone who braved the unprecedented temperatures this season to support the band during the 2024 "Band Concerts Under the Stars" series. Although the year was a bit different (taking the Fourth of July off and then canceling one concert due to excessive heat), the band maintained its legendary high standards of excellence. Special thanks to our musical director, Dale Engstrom, the faithful musicians, the outstanding soloists, our announcer, Randy McFarland, the sound crew, the Chamber of Commerce, the City, and our corporate and private sponsors. This is truly a team effort and one of the best things about living in Kingsburg. Mark your calendars now for next season: June 12, 2025.

Just a reminder that the final band concert of 2024 will be Thursday evening, July 25, in Memorial Park. Farmers market at 5:00 and the music begins at 8:00. And, as has become a tradition for the finale, the band will perform the 1812 Overture complete with church bells and authentic cannons. It is a concert experience you do not want to miss.

A sad, but prudent, announcement: This week’s concert (Thursday, July 11) has been cancelled due to the excessive heat that we are experiencing. The final two concerts (July 18 and 25) will be held as scheduled, weather permitting. Sorry for this inconvenience but the health and safety of our musicians and audience is of paramount importance. See you all on July 18!
