Liberty Mountain had a blast over the weekend at the Battle of the Waxhaws 💥

Members of the Liberty Mountain company and Ferguson’s Loyalist Militia had the pleasure of encamping at Waxhaws over the weekend, performing scenes from our okay, and our Artistic Director led a talk about the life of Major Patrick Ferguson.

Had a wonderfully informative tour of Kings Mountain’s very own historical museum, what a treasure trove of artifacts, resources and knowledge. This city is blessed to have institutions like this keeping its legacy alive and strong. Liberty Mountain is honored to have space in this incredible place. Liberty Mountain was proud to have performed as part of the City of Kings Mountain’s Memorial Day Observance yesterday 🇺🇸

Even though the weather moved us indoors, we still marched with the Honor Guard, presented an original piece about the story of Kings Mountain native Preston Goforth, provided live music and gave a traditional rifle salute while our Artistic Director played Taps. A huge thank you to everyone who braved the rain to come celebrate with us!
