I was told to check out the Kings Island calendar(which I did) and found this for April 2022. I don’t know if it’s a glitch and why every page hasn’t shared it yet… but it’s about the same time they used to open pre 2020. Of course nothing is official yet and won’t be till they announce it.
Looks like weekly operations start 23 May and weekends are 10pm closes once we get into May(April 30th is).

So, I noticed Lightroom had a update earlier and figured I’d let it update… and it’s jaw dropping to see what the new masking AI can do(paid subscription). What used to take hours with skill and knowledge is reduced down to a click or two. The original shot is a swipe left, and due to luminous values and flat exposure would have been problematic to mask even with highlights/shadows or colors. I’m surprise how clean the selection is with little bleed over. There are 3 AI selected masks with this image and it allowed for near spot on color correction and shadow/highlight recovery. It probably won’t be long until they give us sky replacements on mobile among a few other tools that are still computer based only.
Anyhow, this was shot during Coasterstock on the cellphone as we got ushered on along the tour. The editing power now available on a phone is astounding through Adobe programs!

This is how last night started and ended. It was one of those heavy moisture filled nights(stayed surprising warm) which along with the fog machines put this heavy atmosphere all over the park. Orion, with its light package really goes to another level in this environment. should do their POV/off ride footage on nights likes as it looks like the trains disappear up into the sky and those front seat rides… almost tough to beat as you dive down into the moody fog you seemed to just emerged from.
The only thing that made it better is the use of FLP last night, which wasn’t necessary but definitely made the usual need to hustle around the less urgent.

I’m not sure what to make of this and will let the viewer make their own assumptions.
I went back by the park today as I had a few questions about what color they are painting the tower. I have been giving the party line answer of “Eiffel Tower Green” and now I’m not so sure. This could be merely a test or it may be what it ends up being, but that is a gold/bronze/copper’ish color painted over what I suspect is a primer.
