Lake Tahoe’s blue is famously known as “Tahoe Blue.” 💙

The color feels almost unreal — bright, deep, and crystal clear all at once. The reason Tahoe looks so blue is because the lake is incredibly pure and clear, allowing sunlight to travel deep into the water. The water absorbs most colors of light except blue, which reflects back to our eyes like a glowing jewel.

But honestly, Tahoe Blue feels like more than science. There’s something peaceful, powerful, and mysterious about it that makes you stop and just stare for a moment. Nature created a masterpiece here. ✨

まるで絵の具では表現できないような、明るさと深さを同時に感じる不思議な青。
タホの湖が青く見える理由は、湖の水が驚くほど透明で澄んでいるから。太陽の光が湖の奥深くまで届き、青以外の光を吸収して、青い光だけが私たちの目に返ってくるそうです。

でも、タホブルーの魅力は科学だけでは説明できない気がします。
静けさ、力強さ、そして少しの神秘。
眺めていると、自然が作った大きなアート作品の中にいるような気持ちになります。✨
