When it comes to equine nutrition, I’ve learned that less can truly be more.

I used to feed multiple supplements and overfill the feed bucket thinking it would make my horses healthier and shinier. But what I discovered was that I was actually doing the opposite by overloading their systems and wasting money on things their bodies couldn’t even process.

Once I took the time to really understand what a horse’s body needs to look, feel, and perform its best, everything changed. I started feeding with purpose and focusing on balance, quality ingredients, and proper nutrition. Now my horses look and feel better than ever, and my feed bill is lower too.

Good nutrition isn’t about feeding more It’s about feeding right. When you meet your horse’s true needs, you’ll see the difference from the inside out.

Take Time With God

Don’t just come to God when life feels heavy. Come to Him when it’s peaceful too. Take time to sit with Him, to be thankful, and to notice the beauty he has placed all around you. Sometimes the quiet moments …the sunrise, a soft breeze, or the sound of your horses breathing are His way of speaking to you.

We get so busy asking for answers that we forget to stop, breathe, and listen. God isn’t just there to solve our problems. He’s guiding us every day, showing us His goodness if we just take the time to see it.

Be still. Be thankful. Take in the beauty of what He’s already done.
