Everybody is asking me if I am putting on the dance party this weekend on Kaua’i
I am Not
but I will certainly will be there !
I was playing boombox on the radio 15 years ago when their album downriverelectric came out, mr. boogie man, Shakedown Street, my favorite tracks . Just saw them up in Tahoe and they always put on a great show. ! Plus, Polish Ambassador ! Wow! You better get your tickets quick for these shows I’m sure they’re close to be sold out. Saturday night also will have Phish mixes and the mashup of both groups together which sounds like a lot of fun ! Looking forward to dancing with y’all ! I think we could all use a good dance party for a couple nights. Mahalo to Ben and the crew at Anaina Hou for putting this together and getting these guys out to our little island !

I watched the beautiful Bobby Weir memorial today. I’ve had a difficult week processing the end of an era. I want to say thank you to everyone who wrote to me after last Saturday nights marathon Bob show, thank you for all the kind words and support. It’s really great to know that so many people listen to my radio show and feel the energy in the music I replay to the world. I did everything on the fly with lots of emotion, but didn’t really get to play all the rare Bobby tunes I wanted to play so tonight I’m gonna do part 2 of my Bobby tribute also playing some super fresh jams from bands that this week have played his music in memoir, so many amazing celebrations and events have happened this last week and I just feel it’s appropriate to keep the music going from his amazing catalogue of songs tonight at 9 PM Hawaiian time.
