Hoping to start the summer off right.

Messing around with watercolor paints with the kids today.
Of course they were done way before I was.
I never really understood how watercolor pants worked. Ive watched videos on them and admired the results.
I am now a fan. Although its not perfect( it never needs to be either) , I had fun creating this an taking my time.
Had no image in mind, no plan, just pure off the top of my head painting. I sometimes forget how freeing painting can be and am so grateful for the time to be able to slow down and appreciate God's creation come alive in all mediums.

Yall I havent posted in awhile! Ive learned alot since my last crochet post. This was my first official decent purse I made.
Ive made smaller purses, dice bags, baby sets, scrunchies, and much more. This has been so fun learning and creating to see a final product.
I mostly give my stuff away and rarely make anything for myself.
You can learn anything if you are determined enough and genuinely excited to just have a new skill added to your hobby tool belt.

Try something new because you never know what you are capable of till you try. I have always wanted to learn how to crochet just to make granny squares. My Grandma Pauline made granny squares all the time to turn into blankets and it always fascinated me on how she did it. This year I finally got crochet hooks and watched a video more than once to make a granny square. This is my first, second, and third try. I did take 2 apart in between all this to re do them so technically it took me 5 tries to make 1 good granny square. Now onto the project to make a blanket. Wish me luck yall!
