Some really beautiful pots came from the kiln this afternoon from our paint your own pottery event. One sad calamity - possibly one of the prettiest mugs to ever come from my kiln had a runny glaze that stuck to the cookie (that’s a sort of coaster that keeps the glaze from sticking to the kiln shelf ) and as much as I tried to save it with a Dremel diamond wheel, I was unsuccessful. It’s a sad day when your own creation gets destroyed and a really sad day when it’s a customer’s creation 😞 But, on to making more pots 💪🏼.

Thanks to everyone who came out to paint some pottery this evening, I can’t wait to see how they all turn out ❤️

Friends, I have had many people ask me about hosting a paint your own pottery event. So, here it is. We will be painting mugs this time around, and if the interest is there, we will add jars, vases, birdhouses, or most anything you would like to paint in the future.
