Everyone walks into a tattoo shop a little differently.

You’ve got the confident one who walks in like they own the place.

The nervous one who opens the door, immediately looks terrified, and considers leaving.

The “I’m just looking” customer who already has six tattoo ideas saved on their phone.

The friend who isn’t getting tattooed but somehow has the most questions.

The person who walks in and just stands there waiting for someone to acknowledge their existence.

And, of course, the one who cracks the door open, sticks their head inside and asks, “Are you open?”

We see all of you. And yes, we’re judging your entrance. Just a little.

There’s so much going on in this piece, and somehow Marissa made every detail belong.

The flowing hair, the flowers, the ornate frame, the tiny stars, the splash of blue, and that gorgeous stippled shading all come together without any one part taking over.

This is the kind of tattoo you can stare at for a while and keep finding something new.

A dog portrait is one of those tattoos where the little details matter. The eyes, the expression, the texture of the fur. It has to look like THEIR dog, not just a dog.

This video shows the whole process as Vitalii takes it from the first lines to a finished portrait, building the detail and shading little by little.

Watching realism come together like this never gets old.
