Change of seasons makes me feel like changing things up, watercolors on paper, and a couple of new subjects.

I thought *Orange Blossom Morning* was going to be a quick little painting.

It had other ideas.

What started as a simple portrait of a rescued Florida panther slowly became a celebration of Florida's natural beauty, with orange blossoms, a mockingbird, and a zebra longwing butterfly all finding their way into the painting.

I shared the story behind it on my blog if you'd like to read how it all came together.

I'd love to know what you think.
You know where to look for the link.⤵️

Let the summer festivities begin ‼️For me that means beach days.
I’m going to try and squeeze in a little beach time this week.
I have the yearly pass to the Florida State Parks,
So I try to take a late afternoon swim 🏊 on days when my painting is finished by 4-ish.
