Beehive number two at Bahia Honda State Park, not that big of a hive compared to the first one that we did yesterday. We have one more hive to go and we’ll be done. Initially we thought there were four hives but the bees were just hanging out. We opened the structure but there wasn’t anything there.

Beehive removal at the Key West Cemetery, definitely a first for all involved, we were able to get the girls out and they will be set up in a new home.

I think it’s time to stop developing native habitat, please protect what’s left.

Ibis Bay Resort in Key West, small beehive removal, part 2. Not the best day to do a beehive removal because of all the rain. It wasn’t too bad for Beehive Removal number two of the season.

I just got a call yesterday from a woman who was questioning what happens to the chickens in Key West, It still amazes me how few people know exactly what happens to the chickens in Key West, they think they’re hunted down and treated badly, a lot of misinformation in this electronic age we live in. Like I told the woman they’re treated very well and they are taken to places where they are able to live happily ever after. The End.
