Fantastic turnout for Italian Night at the Movies! 🇮🇹🎬

A big thank you to all who attended the season kickoff of Italian Night at the Movies with Sons & Daughters of Italy Key West Lodge 2436.

We loved welcoming everyone to the Tropic for ROAD TO LEMON GROVE, and a special thanks to Conchiglia for providing a delicious “Taste of Italy.”

We look forward to seeing everyone again on Wednesday, November 4, for the next film in the series, THEY CALL ME TRINITY.

Yesterday was a special day at the Tropic. 🎬🍿

We reopened our doors, welcomed back our beloved patrons and volunteers, and received a visit from the Mayor and City Commissioners. They joined in the celebration, officially proclaiming October 1 “Tropic Cinema Day” in Key West!

What a wonderful way to begin this next chapter. We’re so happy to be home.

We’ve missed you, Key West!

Tropic Cinema reopens Thursday, October 1. For our first week back, we’re catching up on some of the movies we missed this summer while our doors were closed.

Showtimes and tickets will be available soon.

Bear with us as we’re still a work in progress, and a huge thank you to everyone who has helped us get the Tropic up and running again. We’re so grateful for your support!

Membership looks good with a glass of w**e. 🍷🎬

Friday’s “Sip & Support the Tropic” at Vinos brought another great evening of w**e, community, and support for the Tropic — including some renewed members!

This week’s tasting theme was “Unexpected Wines” and as it turns out, w**e pairs pretty well with a side of popcorn.

Join us next Friday, September 25 from 4-6pm for the final “Sip & Support the Tropic” w**e tasting at Vinos. Can’t wait to see you there!
