Hope everyone is having a great week!! Summer is flying by!

I have been working around our new house for 3 weeks now almost a month and soon... soon... (rubs hands together) I will have a better studio and my kiln and I will be pumping out pottery again.

We upgrade from flooded- damaged studio to partially finished with amenities and work multiple rooms!! ; ) YAY! Then hopefully the big kiln is operational before new years!!!

Good warm summer day to you all!

Stay cool and safe and if you are looking for something fun to watch the Stark County Pageant is coming... and here is the stuff I donated for the raffle! Support our community and let those kids have a great time and learn from this experience... my gorgeous little sister Haley Sloan enjoyed the experience much and we enjoyed seeing our princess looking like one up on stage ; )

Hope every one had a safe and awesome holiday!

Mine was awesome, sun and fun filled- saw lots of beautiful wildlife (turtles, fish, snakes, cranes, crawfish and hawks) and after a belly full of river water I was sick saturday night till today... and I have no dizzyness and nausia today - good ole bug moved on so it was time to get to business!

Gotta check these out. Made for a lady who has need for some hideouts for her aquatic tank. Soooo pleased at the out come. Right made in gas kiln at monmouth and left made in electric kiln in my studio ; ) one of those moments when you want to start dancing : )

Log project next to the tree stump I made a while ago in the monmouth kiln. Turned out so close in color I about jumped for joy! - of course I didnt. I had precious pottery in my hand : )

Good day friends! It has been a busy month of work, weather and water! Heavens! : ) Hope the summer is going well and every one is having a good one. Thought I would post and oldie- but goodie today. This is a maple leaf bean crock I made for my grandparents and gma uses it as a cookie jar ; ) only sweets in this crock!!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!! Thought I would post this little cup. It now is with my aunt and uncle and holds dog treats for their little jewel Belle. Love the contrasts and textures on this cup : ) Gotta love the babies with fur ; ) Take care friends!

What an icky rainy spat we are going to have here in Central Illinois. Figured I would post a picture of some cute lil candle holders. I have an owl stamp I made and baked in my kiln and Hootie is all over these candle holders! I also have made a paw stamp, star and a mickey mouse outline for something I am going to make my cousin : )

hello friends. Its been a long week so I wanted to post something beautiful. May you all have a wonderful friday and a great weekend.

If you know the Goodman family my step grandpa passed and we celebrate and lay him to rest today. Keep everyone in your heart for me. He is the gramps I see all the time so the last month has been mondo rough. Hugs.
