This is a Wenzel Freidrick Texas Longhorn chair. Wenzel was my hero and he built the finest longhorn furniture ever! He was out of San Antonio. Every major Ranch in Texas has a room full of his work. Theres also be of his chairs in the TEXAS RANGER museum in Waco. Every-time I was at the museum I would study that chair thoroughly!. So when I moved to DC and was missing Texas, I ordered enough horns to build a chair. And that as it! I loved building it so much…..and have been doing custom lighting and furniture ever since! Over 34 years.

I’ve had this Wenzel Freidrick chair for sometime now and decided to reupholster it. The seat was pretty tired and looking rough! This was one of Wenzel’s first pieces and it was made in 1880.
