Ketch Tara’s Art has a new home. We moved!

I’m so excited to finally share my new art space. This loft is one of the things that made me fall in love with this house, and it feels so special to be creating here now.

Huge thank you to all the friends who helped us make the move happen! You are so appreciated.

Mind the mess. I’m taking my time letting this space evolve while still working on the projects that need to get done 😉

Finally finished the digital version of this piece. Going to be ordering prints soon. Let me know if you are interested!...

Collection from friends❤️

Today I dismantled Unblinking Fuzzling.

Moving forward means letting go of big projects that don’t fit this next season. It’s strangely therapeutic (even cathartic) to say goodbye and make room for new ideas.

Whelp here is the final creation.

Fun fact: Janie is dancing with ice packs against her skin because she was dying of heat. Can you believe she did so well with how hot that was?!?! Wasn’t even in my radar that what I was creating would be super hot. 😬

And yes Joe kept getting my name wrong, my defense he didn’t read my name at dress rehearsal… but after the fact it felt small to correct.

New coloring page drop! Coloring pages are available at the Ketchikan public library near the study rooms❤️

I am slowly making coloring pages of my art to eventually create my own coloring book. Until then I donate my art work to the library for anyone to enjoy.
