💔I can’t imagine a world without Dolly….that beautiful light with such a heart of gold.
She showed us it was ok to be a little different than everyone else, to choose a different path. She owned who she was and where she came from and never apologized for being true to herself.

Her song Coat Of Many Colors was always special to me because although we didn’t grow up poor like she did, my mama lovingly sewed beautiful things for me too. It’s where I get my love of textiles from.
Today is also my mama’s birthday. 🩷

Rest in peace Dolly. I will always love you.
