🎨 Calling all muralists, creatives, and public art makers! Join us for the Mural Artist Meet-Up + Public Art Networking Event: an afternoon of connection, collaboration, and opportunity in the Triad. Today's speaker highlight is who will be joining us to give a case study and behind-the-scenes look at a public call for artists including the application process, committee decisions, and feedback!
Hosted in collaboration with The Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County, The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, the Public Art Commission of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, The High Point Arts Council, and Zibra Painting, this event brings together artists, organizations, and potential clients shaping public art across our region.

What to Expect:
- Artist Meet-Up + Lunch (1- 2 PM): Arrive, connect, and settle in with fellow artists over a casual lunch.
- Programming + Speaker Sessions (2- 4 PM): Hear from local Arts Councils about public art, funding, and mural opportunities. Gain insight into navigating grants, public art opportunities, and ask questions along the way.
- Happy Hour + Community Networking (4- 5 PM): This portion of the event opens the doors to business owners, developers, and community leaders, creating space for artists to connect directly with potential clients, and network with fellow business owners in the Triad. (NO TICKET REQUIRED from 4- 5 p.m.)
Körner's Folly is proud to support the Mural Artist Meet-Up at The Open Studio. As both an artist and entrepreneur, Jule Körner helped pioneer large-scale painted advertisements across the Southeast. Körner created some of the nation's earliest monumental outdoor artworks, making this celebration of mural arts and creative community a fitting collaboration.
