Hampton Studio is now gone. Yes, all good things must come to an end. I am more than happy to know that hundreds of people had amazing times there. On this day, January 3, 2016 I dedicate the memory of this place to the one and only Bryan Shoemaker. He played here and kicked ass doing it. He loved the Pink Floyd bar. I am so happy our paths crossed in this journey. I will keep this page going to remember the times we had there. It is a sad day for me... But we my friends... will rock on.

Friends, Romans, countrymen lend me your ears! Sadly I will be soon moving from and giving up the old studio. It's been a blast, but as time moves on so must we. As many of you know this place housed my business primarily and when time allowed we turned it into a rock palace. I'm moving my business now and have to give up the rock palace. What a time we've had! I'd like to thank the bands that have played here, Morehead City, Motorvader, Alexis Machine, Arcade Bully, Heart Brigade, Sok Monkee and so many special guests on stage. Chris Holt on sax, Joe Asher on strat, Chris Lesnic on drums.... if I'm missing anyone I'm sorry. There has been some kick ass music made at this place and some damn good times. Once I get the move settled I'll be back and more involved in the scene and most likely making a mic squeal somewhere or another. My thanks to all who performed, all who came out and all those near and far who just liked this page and last but not least.... my pals.... the "Skeleton Crew" with out you folks the party of all parties could never have happened. I will always keep this page open so when anyone wants to relive a bit of good old times they can. As always if you have any pics you might not have shared from a time or two here please do so. My thanks and much love to you all and I will see you at a venue somewhere soon! I never post things about the daily business here at Hampton Studios but thought I would share this as the old Ringmaster almost had a disaster today.

In the upper corner of the building where the door that leads to the bathroom is I have a packing table I use to package goods for UPS. I was there taping up a package then walked about 30 feet away when I heard a crashing noise. My neighbor who is a carpet wholesaler had rammed a carpet tube thru the wall with a forklift 8 feet into my place right where I had been standing.

Had I still been there as I was a brief few seconds before this would have taken my legs out right above my ankles.

It shook me up quite a bit needless to say.

The moral to this story? You damn sure never know what might happen at any given time.
