What an evening 鉁笍

Some snapshots of tonight's choir, guitar, and violin class concert at Kerman Middle School. Thank you to those in attendance for participating in the music making on our last number for the night. It's always a treat to share our music, and even more of a treat to engage our audience. Well done Mr. Rice and Mrs. Adams 馃憦馃憦

Congratulations to Mariachi Le贸n for taking 2nd place in the 1st annual CSBC Mariachi Championship in Bakersfield. Great work students, and shoutout to Mr. Plascencia and Ms. Gamez for getting our students ready to perform at such a high level of excellence.

May is the season for music performances.

Tonight Mariachi Le贸n, the KHS Jazz, and KMS Jazz bands provided entertainment for the Annual Chicken BBQ at Sun Empire Elementary School. This is always one our favorite events. Being able to perform across grade levels at one location is always a treat, and an inspiration for our younger musicians.

Another concert complete here in Kerman. Thank you to all the families that came out to support our students 鉂わ笍 beginning musicians always know when to shine when they see such big audiences 鉁笍鉁笍

Our next concerts will be at Kerman Middle School on May 12 for Choir and Guitar and May 14 for our bands.

Thanks to the Kerman High School and Kerman Unified School District administration for helping to put together this wonderful awards banquet. Mr. Plascencia and Ms. Gamez for the student recognition. Mr. Rice and his jazz band for the entertainment. And all the families for joining us tonight.

Take a look at our Concert Line Up for the Spring semester. Come out and support our little lions all the way to our graduating musicians. Our students have been working hard and learning pieces of music all year long.

Remember, concerts are held at each school's MPR or cafeteria. For more information about performances please reach out to each school's music teacher.

A big thank you to the After School Program at Kerman-Floyd Elementary School for inviting some of our music classes to join in an evening of performance. Everyone sounded so good. We appreciate the opportunity to share our music and are looking forward to our performances in the spring!!

If any families have any pictures from any of our school's performance please feel free to send them our way. We'll see everyone next semester, keep a lookout for our future performances. Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!!
