It’s finally here! Fourth Friday in Talent brings so many things to do in town: the evening market, the art walk, and this month an amazing exhibit at Back Door!

Come see the beautiful artwork of Portland artist Laura Quintero Antón (yes, formally a Talent gem!)

Experience the beauty of kilnformed glass from Kari Minnick…a check out her watercolors and oil pastel work too!

Miri Admoni brings fused glass and a variety of mixed media to the gallery.

And Terry Davis‘s sculptures are a must see!

We're excited to welcome our first ever *GUEST ARTISTS* to the Guild. Every quarter we'll host a visiting regional artist through the Back Door Art Studio & Gallery whose juried work will grace our gallery in Kerby!!

Heather Ayers-Flood Creatif AF, co-owner of the Back Door, is a mixed media artist who has long called Talent, OR home. While she started her artistic journey at a very young age, preferring finger paints and Play-doh over most other media, her journey carried her in many directions, including photography, calligraphy and fluid art. She rediscovered her passion for inks, paints, and messy creations along the path, and when the gel plate caught her eye she was completely hooked!

Her main medium these days is alcohol ink and you'll find an assortment of original alcohol ink paintings, archival prints, greeting cards, and colorful jewelry on display now at the Guild Gallery. Join us this Sunday July 26 from 4-6pm at our Summer Exhibit Opening: Interdependence to meet Heather and see her demo her artistic process!

Our Guild July 2026 Palette Newsletter hit inboxes this morning! We're excited to finally share about our *NEW* year-long Visiting Artist Collaboration with the Back Door Art Studio & Gallery in Talent. Co-owners Donna Tucci’Z Designs and Heather Ayers-Flood Creatif AF will will displaying their art at the Guild Gallery in Kerby from July-Oct. Come meet the artists on Sunday July 26 at our Summer Exhibit Opening: Interdependence from 4-6pm. Our next GUEST ARTIST is Donna Bertucci-Ruiz of Tucci’Z Designs! She is co-owner of the Back Door Art Studio & Gallery, a jewelry artist, and adventurist based in Talent, OR. Her fascination with the Pacific Northwest inspires her necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets that tell stories of her experiences in nature--translating her surroundings into wearable art forms!

Often working from her own photos, her pieces are sculpted in fine silver Precious Metal Clay (PMC), a malleable recycled silver that can be molded, cut, and fired in a kiln. Additions of stone inlay, gold accents, patinas, or beads are included until the scene comes alive. The entire process from the adventure to the silver and final finishing completes her story.

Come meet Donna at the Guild this Sunday July 26 from 4-6pm at our Summer Exhibit Opening: Interdependence and see a live demonstration of her process. A variety of Donna's jewelry will be on display at the Guild through October 11, 2026.

Mural unveiling at the Talent Historical Society at 6 pm - a beautiful work created by local artist KYRIANNA as part of the “Our Stories Through Art” project.

And Back Door Art Studio and Gallery is open with our extended hours (4-8pm) featuring the beautiful artwork of Alexandra Vanderlip ( )as well as the fine silver jewelry creations of Bertucci Ruiz / and the bold alcohol ink paintings from Heather Ayers-Flood / .
