Cynergy Dance Academy Where fun and creativity meet quality dance education and your child's safe and proper development is most important!

Our dance year runs September thru the beginning of June, the yearly recital is the 2nd weekend in June. We accept all kids between the ages of 3-18. Our yearly classes are held once weekly for either 45min (3-4 year olds), or an hour (5-18yr olds) and are paid monthly $45 a month. We offer discounts for taking more than one class. 2 classes 10% discount,3 classes= 15%... 4 classes=20%, 5 classes= 25%. Please call with any questions. 567-674-9392

🎉🧡💜 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MISS Ricki Coulson ! 💜🧡🎉

Today we are celebrating one of the sweetest members of our Cynergy family — Miss Ricki! 🥳💃

Miss Ricki brings so much love, patience, and joy into our studio. From leading our Liturgical program, to teaching lyrical and jazz, to loving on some of our littlest dancers in their combination classes, she has a beautiful way of making every student feel special, encouraged, and loved. 🥰

Dance has been a part of Miss Ricki's life for as long as she can remember, and it is so special watching her now share that love with the next generation of dancers. She is beautifully carrying on the dancing legacy her Aunt Penny began — while adding her own heart, gifts, and special touch to it along the way. ❤️

And YES... our students absolutely LOVE their Miss Ricki! We certainly understand why. She's kind, she's fun, she's encouraging, and she genuinely cares about every child who walks into her classroom.

We are incredibly blessed to have her as part of our Cynergy family. 🧡💜

A skilled dance teacher doesn’t just know what skills to teach—they understand the technique behind them and know how to teach dancers the correct foundations to build those skills safely and successfully.

The Cynergy Competition Dance Family is officially complete! 💜🧡

We are SO excited to introduce our 2026–2027 SUPER NOVA Competition Team! 🌟

For many of these dancers, this will be their very first experience with competitive dance, and we could not be more excited to watch where this journey takes them.

Our Super Novas may be our youngest competition dancers, but they are stepping into a BIG dance family this season! 💜

As we fully embrace our mission of creating not just great dancers, but a true dance family, our Super Novas will have plenty of big dance sisters on our Stellar, Solstice, and Sirius teams cheering them on, encouraging them, helping them backstage, celebrating their accomplishments, and showing them what it means to be part of a team.

Because competition dance at Cynergy is about so much more than trophies.

🌟 They will grow.
🌟 They will learn.
🌟 They will work hard.
🌟 They will learn how to be great teammates.
🌟 They will gain confidence and discover just how much they are capable of.

And most importantly…

They are going to HAVE FUN. 🥰

They'll make memories, build friendships, laugh together, cheer for one another, and hopefully develop an even deeper LOVE of dance along the way.

We want these girls to learn that competition isn't just about competing against the dancers standing beside you. It's about challenging yourself to grow a little stronger, perform a little bigger, and become a little better every time you step onto that stage.

🌟 Thursday, August 13th at 6:00 PM 🌟

Do you have a young dancer age 7-12 who LOVES to perform, wants to grow, and might be ready to try something a little more than a regular weekly dance class? 💜🧡

Our Supernova Competition Team may be the perfect place to start!

We want parents to know that competition dance at Cynergy—especially for our younger dancers—is FUN, encouraging, and age-appropriate. 💕

Our goal isn't to put unnecessary pressure on little dancers or make everything about trophies and placements. At this age, we want to:

✨ Instill a genuine LOVE of dance
👯 Help them build friendships and feel part of a team
💃 Teach strong dance technique and performance skills
🌟 Introduce them to competitive dance in a fun, positive environment
💪 Build confidence, responsibility, and teamwork
🧠 Protect their mental and emotional well-being while allowing them to develop at an appropriate pace

We believe dance competitions are much more about competing against yourself than competing against the dancer standing next to you.

Did you remember your choreography better this time?
Did you point your toes a little more?
Were you braver onstage?
Did your team work better together?
Did you improve from the last competition?

THAT is success. ❤️

Of course we love when our dancers earn awards, but a trophy will never be more important to us than raising dancers who are confident, kind, supportive of one another, and still LOVE dancing when the season is over.

🌟 AUDITIONS TONIGHT — THURSDAY, AUGUST 13TH AT 6:00 PM! 🌟

Dancers will learn a short, fun combination and then audition using what they just learned. We keep the atmosphere relaxed and encouraging—we want them to be excited, not terrified!

If your dancer has been curious about competition dance but you've worried that it might be too serious or too much pressure, come give Supernovas a try. 💜🧡

Sometimes competition isn't about creating the dancer who wins the most.

It's about helping a little dancer discover how much she loves being on that stage. 🌟

No... we're not changing our logo. 😉 We simply wanted to have a little fun while showing our support for the small businesses in Beavercreek that are facing expensive trademark lawsuits over the use of beavers in their logos.
As a locally owned small business ourselves, we understand how much heart, time, and sacrifice it takes to build something from the ground up. Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and when one of us is struggling, we all feel it.
So today we're standing with the Beavercreek businesses who are fighting to protect the brands they've worked so hard to create.
Our little ballerina beaver is our way of saying: 🦫 We support creativity. 🧡 We support small businesses. 💜 We support our fellow entrepreneurs.

During auditions, dancers will: ⭐ Learn a short audition routine ⭐ Perform it immediately for our judges ⭐ Show us their enthusiasm, confidence, performance quality, and willingness to learn!
💥 Want to be extra prepared?
Dancers who attend our Wednesday 6:00 PM Competition Preparedness Class will have the opportunity to learn the audition choreography early, giving them extra time to practice and feel confident before auditions!
Whether your dancer is hoping to join competition for the first time or is ready to take their dancing to the next level, we'd love to see them come audition!

We can't wait to welcome both new and returning dancers to Cynergy Dance Academy's Open House & Registration! 💜🧡
📅 August 18th, 19th & 20th (Tuesday–Thursday) 🕔 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. You are welcome to attend any of those days and any time between 5-8.
Whether you're joining us for the very first time or returning for another amazing season, this is the perfect opportunity to get everything ready before classes begin!
During Open House you'll be able to: ✨ Find out your class day and time 👋 Meet your teachers 👟 Get sized for dance shoes and practice gear ❓Ask any questions you may have 📝 Complete your registration and reserve your spot!
💲Registration Fees 🧡 New Students: $25 💜 Returning Students: $15
👟🩰 Shoe Ordering Information You do not have to purchase your shoes during Open House. We'll happily get everyone professionally sized, and once shoes are paid for, we'll place the order. If you aren't ready to purchase them yet, no worries—we'll simply include you in our next shoe order!
📋 Planning to dance with us this season? We encourage families who already know they'll be registering to complete the pre-registration form below. This form is designed to help us gather your dancer's availability and class preferences before Open House so we can begin building our class schedule.
While we can't guarantee every request, and our teachers' schedules must take priority, we'll do our very best to accommodate everyone's availability. Completing the pre-registration form gives us the best opportunity to create a schedule that works for as many families as possible, and we'll have those class schedules ready for you at Open House!
We are so excited for another incredible year of learning, growing, making friendships, and creating unforgettable memories together. Whether you're taking your very first dance class or returning to your dance family, we can't wait to see you!
