"What the heck are ACEOs?"
Art Cards, Editions, and Originals (ACEOs) are little 2.5" × 3.5" trading card sized artworks. They can be sold or traded. Pretty much the only rule is the size.

These are part of "The sleepies" collection I created. This Volume contains 9 cards, featuring — you guessed it — sleepy cats. I painted these in Gouache.
A few of them are a little silly looking, but I think that makes it fun!
I've really grown to love that yellow one, but I know I can't keep them all! 💛

This might be one of my favorite pieces yet! 😍🩵 The reference photo featured a large can on the left side of the photo.
I had to do quite a bit of digital painting in order to re-create the rippled texture of the floatie. It took some time to paint digitally, so by the time I got to work on the final piece, I had some good practice.
It took 22.5 hours to create this piece, with nearly 17 hours of that spent on the background!
Yes, it did take forever, but I think the results speak for themselves, and I am SO incredibly proud of it.
It's definitely up there in my top 5 favorite pieces I've done to date! 🩵🐶
