I am so furious and scared at the same time. A woman tried to break into our house at 1:30 am. She tried to break in the front door and our living room window. She destroyed the screens ripping them off the windows.
We called the police. It took them forever on get to our house. When they did get here she was still on the property trying to break in.
Did they arrest her ??? No there is no room in the jail. She has mental issues and they deal with her all the time. None of that comforts me. We have lived here for 40 years. This is the first time we have called for help. All my tax payer dollars did nothing to protect us.
I did get a text from the police department telling me that they were short staffed and really busy. They would try to get to us as soon as possible.
Praying she does not come back. Ugh….
