Our 2026/2027 season is off and running! Essential that we take a second to acknowledge the volunteers that help make Kenosha Symphony Orchestra concerts possible.

𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾 KUSD orchestra students from Bradford High School for being one of those groups of volunteers we can’t function without! Our Educational Outreach goes beyond our wonderful spring Kids’ Concerts. These students understand that this is 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓲𝓻 𝓽𝓸𝔀𝓷 and 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓲𝓻 𝓵𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓵 𝓸𝓻𝓬𝓱𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓪. They show up, help out where they’re needed, book those volunteer hours for school, and get to hear a full symphony orchestra concert.

A round of applause for the next generation of orchestral musicians and audience members. 👏 👏 👏

We can’t wait to work with you again.

The KSO's fundamental goal is to provide a bridge between the community and the arts. It’s your community, making music!

For over six years (including those of the pandemic and civil unrest), when fundraising was challenging to come by, Kenosha Community Foundation and members of the community kept the faith to achieve a goal: Raise a million dollars of private funds to restore the Kenosha County Ceremonial Courtroom. The celebration and dedication will be something to behold. A string quartet as well as an orchestra made up of Kenosha Symphony musicians, UW-Parkside musicians, and KUSD string players from Bradford. Joined by BEN WOODS in a moving tribute to history restored, legacy, art, community, and justice.

There’s something very special about being on this stage again with these musicians. The music, the familiar faces, and the sound of an orchestra coming together again—it just feels good.

Tomorrow we will bring you Copland’s Rodeo, Dvorák’s 9th symphony, and Morton Gould’s American Salute with Dr. Robert G. Hasty conducting.

See you tomorrow!
