After a year of exploring, painting, singing, drawing, sculpting, friendship-building, secret-sharing, and creativity, I closed the door to my current studio space for the last time earlier this morning. I received a truly incredible invitation to return to teaching art full-time this upcoming school year, and while I am thrilled to be joining an amazing team and school, it comes with a very bittersweet farewell to all of the magic that unfolded in this little corner of the world.

If either you or your children joined me in the studio this year, or if you were cheering me along virtually, THANK YOU for being a part of the journey. I am so, so lucky to have had such a supportive community beside me; PLEASE feel free to stay in touch through my personal page so that I can keep up with how you’re doing 🫶🏻.

While weekly classes will be discontinued so I can focus on my new position and my own family, I do plan to offer seasonal pop-up classes and summer art camps in a new studio space once I fully settle in to my new role. Until then, you will find that my website and this page will not be updated further.

It has been a genuinely fulfilling ride, and I am so proud to have made the world a more vibrant, positive place in the best way I know how. Cheers to the next chapter!

Day 4 of round 3 of Art Camp started out with wrapping up our watercolor exploration project before hitting the beach! The kids enjoyed lots of digging, sand soccer, 500, bracelet-weaving, looking for shells and rocks, and lunch al fresco on this beautiful, sunshine-y day. I enjoyed closing all three of my rings between the walk there and back and keeping up with ten kids while we were there! 🏃‍♀️🤣

Beach Day was a hit again! Lots of digging, bracelet-making, rock collecting, bucket-stacking, and the kids even insisted on pushing the wagon for us! We cooled off and wound the day down by painting some of our newfound rocks back at the studio. We should alllllllll sleep well tonight! 😆❤️

Day 1 of Week 2 of Art Camp is in the books!! We did some drawing to get to know each other, learned how to make clay pinch pot creatures, and wound down by talking about Picasso. It was a busy, super productive morning!

Next (and final!) Art Camp starts on July 7th, and there are still two spots left! Come join the fun! 😍

FILLING FAST! There are only a handful of spaces left for summer art camp at the studio! I have allllllll of the fun projects planned to keep your kids busy, learning, and experimenting with a myriad of materials for a full week of creative fun!

🎨 SUMMER ART CAMPS 🎨 We'll be painting, drawing, sculpting, watercoloring, and definitely some classic summer camp bracelet-making...and I'll even throw in a little color theory and art history, but they'll be having so much fun they won't even notice 😉. Each camp will also include one day of walking down to the lakefront for a picnic lunch and some outdoor art-making 🌞.

Summer Events are LIVE!! Half-day week-long summer camps, one-day mini-camps for painting and drawing, and a myriad of pop-up events are posted and ready for registration!
