The Lowest Pair, the banjo-and-guitar duo of Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee, have earned national attention for their beautifully off-kilter folk songs, close harmonies, and quietly powerful live performances. Their new album Always As Young As We’ll Ever Be was recently featured by NPR’s Best New Music, and reviewers have called their work “deeply human, honest, and heartfelt” and “as enchanting as ever.”

Last night, Pat Byrne gave us one of those White Lilac nights we won’t forget... Standing ovation. Encore. Big laughs. Great stories. A few songs that absolutely broke hearts. And that voice — unreal.
We didn’t quite sell out, but we came pretty close. Even better, people traveled from miles around — including Kentucky and Texas — to be in this little room in Kenosha. That means something!
Artists of this caliber are finding us. Audiences are traveling here. White Lilac is growing into a destination with each and every show.
