- Rene Magritte Last week someone asked me, “What kind of art do you do?” I was perplexed.

I haven’t been asked that question in a very long time. I really didn’t have an answer for her at the time. I just stumbled over my words and said something like mumbled, “acrylics, canvas..”

Well, I have been giving it some thought lately. In order to avoid embarrassment, I figure I should have a well-thought-out answer for this question and I think I have one. Some of my pieces have been inspir

ed by photographs or artwork from others (as cited in the piece). My recent art has been typically capturing members of society in different points in time placed in a situation which can tell a story. What the story is, is up to the viewer to decipher. My work can possibly best be described as sometimes classical, sometimes modern, sometimes childish, sometimes offensive, sometimes thought provoking, sometimes nostalgic, sometimes filthy...
