Jason Hedman Art "Life obliges me to do something..."
- Rene Magritte Last week someone asked me, “What kind of art do you do?” I was perplexed.

I haven’t been asked that question in a very long time. I really didn’t have an answer for her at the time. I just stumbled over my words and said something like mumbled, “acrylics, canvas..”

Well, I have been giving it some thought lately. In order to avoid embarrassment, I figure I should have a well-thought-out answer for this question and I think I have one. Some of my pieces have been inspired by photographs or artwork from others (as cited in the piece). My recent art has been typically capturing members of society in different points in time placed in a situation which can tell a story. What the story is, is up to the viewer to decipher. My work can possibly best be described as sometimes classical, sometimes modern, sometimes childish, sometimes offensive, sometimes thought provoking, sometimes nostalgic, sometimes filthy...

Thanks for stopping by my page, hope you enjoy it.

See ya Niles, Michigan. My second Four Flags Area Apple Festival was a great success. I was surprised with so many returning customers. People bought from me last year, and then came back to buy more! Damn, thats cool. Thank you all for a great weekend. Now, I get to drive through Chicago on a Monday morning.

I had no idea this place existed until I walked in the door. I was looking for a little arcade. I found a huge factory with no entrance, but cars all around. I followed the parking lot down, at the end I have to drive down a very narrow alley and then pull up to this place. Its really amazing. I wish I could have spent more time there, but it was a 25 min drive to the hotel.
