What happens what a bunch of artists get together? Stick puppets of course! I'd like to introduce the new team at Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership: Stickphanie (middle), Book Bunny the Side-Stick, and the Assi-Stick. Concept by myself, Stephanie Button and puppets designed and made by Melanie Bricker-May of FrogPatch Paper & Works. More coming from this trio very soon!

We're having a weird week, are you? School is about to start, so many things to do!

We're ending August with a drop in Token Press Workshop. You know those pressed pennies you get? Or those coins from games? Or all those little collectibles you have? Bring them, and any flat-ish metal or plastic objects from home and press their image into a zine! It's a fun, cool way to learn about printing while creating something fun to take home. Just make sure your object(s) will be ok if they potentially get a little stained. Don't have anything to bring? We got you. We'll have some things for you to try out. No need to register online, just drop in and pay.

We'll have things set up beginning at 11am, and we'll wrap up around 1pm. See you at the shop!

Looking for some midweek "me time?" Join us for our Papery Meet Up September 2! Bring whatever project you're working on and escape into the cutting, gluing, and arranging of it all. Just bring your scrapbooking-cardmaking-journaling-letter-writing self to the shop for some community. No experience necessary.

This Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 11am-2pm is a drop-in Token Press Workshop! Bring your coins, tokens, any flat metal or plastic object (that you don't mind getting potentially stained) and learn how to print with them! You'll learn a little bit of printmaking by filling a zine with a images to take home. We'll also have a substrate to transfer a 3D impression to print - think things with rounded surfaces. This is a great kid-friendly experience! 😉

If you don't have anything to bring, we got you! We've got objects for you to try.

Things you can bring from home:
- money (coins)
- novelty coins
- pressed pennies from your summer travels
- coins used in games
- lacy or heavy embossed fabrics
- keys
- things with texture that are flat, metal, plastic, or fabric

🚨WARNING🚨Objects may become permanently discolored from ink during printing process. Please make good choices as to which objects you bring. We are not responsible for damage to your object.
