Well it’s been quite awhile since I last posted. You all probably figured out that I quit pinball “NOT”!
Just been busy working on our house instead of pinball projects. 😔
Did two remodel projects, first one was the basement bathroom that if you have been over playing pinball and needed to use the bathroom off the game room that’s the one.
Added a light in the ceiling for the shower, sanded and painted the cabinet. Had new granite countertop installed and flooring tiles. Repainted the bathroom to green.
My second project was our kitchen. Once the island cooktop and tiles were removed. I cut the cabinet so that I could install a range/oven in it.
Glad to be rid of the cooktop as it was in poor condition.
Installed under counter lighting. Cut out the appliance garage in the corner cabinet and painted the entire room.
Lastly had new granite countertops installed.
All in all they both turned out great!

Just wanted to let you all know that I tried a recommendation on cabinet glue removal he recommended to me in restoration group.
That is, I went to Home Depot and bought a 64 fluid ounce bottle of CitriStrip.
I just poured some onto the cabinet and brushed it around with a paintbrush I bought. I waited the 10 minutes or so he recommended. Also bought a brand new husky stainless steel putty knife that was very sharp.
After the 10 minutes or so, the glue just scraped off very easy.
It took off probably I would say 95 to almost 100% in most areas.
Using this product was really nice as I was able to just do it in my work room and I didn’t have to go somewhere where you need ventilation to use the product.
Would highly recommend this to anyone that is restoring a cabinet and need to get the glue off.
It made me rethink on doing cabinet restoration as this product removed the glue very easy. Has I hate doing cabinet restoration as it’s a lot of labor.
Try this recommendation as it works really well.

Working on the white water cabinet top. Thought I’d try the acetone method on getting rid of the decal. Was actually pretty simple to just soak paper towels in acetone and put it over the artwork. Let it sit for about 30 to 60 seconds and just wipe it off.
After about two applications, I was down to bear-wood.
This makes this process really easy instead of doing a lot of sanding.

Well, it’s been quite a while since I’ve done a full restoration on a pinball machine, but here we go.
I have completely stripped the cabinet and head of everything.
Will be washing these two things outside with the hose and simple green in the next day or so.
Have new artwork on order. So this will be quite a different process for you all to follow. As it’s quite involved.

Well today I finished up an amazing mod addition for T2 (probably not my last one 😂) a Hunter/Killer ship. This ship not only looks great, but moves back and forth when you start a ball in play. It’s continues this motion until you shoot a ball at the standup targets. If you hint the correct one the ship vibrates and shakes like you blew it up and then returns to it home position.
If you miss the target the ship just returns to the home position.
What a unique experience/mod! One of the coolest things I’ve ever added to a pinball machine.
Really enjoyed adding it to my machine.
