Oh what a night!!! NYCDA GALA 2021 is in the books!

What a fantastic way to end an amazing week at Nationals and the 2020-2021 dance season!!! Lots of high gold and platinum awards, special awards, high score awards, scholarships, and part of the top 25 in the nation. So so much to be proud of, but not nearly as proud as we are of the amazing young people you have become. “You All” are truly amazing, special young people. We have watched you all, for years, learn to encourage each other, lift each other up, give support when someone needed it, be frustrated, cry, cry harder, laugh, laugh harder at your self and at others in a good way. When it got hard, we watched you work harder when it got tough, you got tougher. Most importantly you learn to work smart and trust the process. The best gift you could give to yourself. ♥️♥️

You all absolutely walked away from this week being smarter, more confident dancers and people, and for that we are thankful. The confidence and grace growing inside each of you is priceless, worth more than any prize you can hold in your hand. It’s life lessons you take with you for the rest of your life.
To recognize you were standing among and were a part of some of the most talented dancers across the country in classes and on stage is HUGE. You all worked hard to get there and you all should be proud of the work you have done. WE ARE!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ BRAVO TO YOU ALL!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

So much to be thankful for and proud of!!! You all took something away this week that will change and inspire you going forward, a moment in time that you will never forget and will always be a part of your heart!! As your teachers, we see you all as “Rock Stars”. Your smiles were brilliant and your steps were rocking as each of you crossed the stage. CONGRATULATIONS DANCERS!!!

Stand tall, smile big, bigger than you ever thought possible and applaud, applaud yourselves for putting in the work, and finishing strong!!! This year was all about you! You came, you listened, you applied and you learned. You learned it’s all inside of you. YOU BELIEVED YOU COULD AND YOU DID!!! We could not have asked for more. You climbed each step up with determination, perseverance, trust, grace and beauty! You learned to trust the process. In the end, “It’s not where you start, it’s how you finish”. “It’s not how you go, it’s how you land”, and you all landed it. We could not be happier for all of you, we applaud each and everyone of you, for the “all in jump” you took, as a student, as a dancer, as a teammate, as a person, this time you danced for you!!!

Congratulations Layla for placing 9th overall, Rowan 16th and Addison 29th out of hundreds in The Junior National NYCDA competition, its amazing and obviously shows your commitment to yourself!! Your work and determination is shining through!! Bravo!! So proud of you!! ♥️

Parents there are not enough words….thank you seems so simple, so common, so ordinary, but it’s the most truest from the heart… THANK….YOU, each and everyone of you, thank you, for it takes a village, it takes time, commitment and as much dedication on your part to make the dream work. You all are SUPER STARS!!! You are an AMAZING group of individuals that continue to work, support, encourage and believe in the process to make the dream work for your dancers and you do it all with a smile and a hug every time!!!

To our AMAZING FACULTY…..THANK….YOU!!! Thank you for jumping on board and taking the time to be patient, caring and determined to get inside each of these dancers heads daily, to give them the confidence, determination and belief, that anything is possible, when you believe. Thank you for believing in them. The “first steps”
truly matters. Thank you for continuing to encourage their “first steps” along the way!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ you have given them the confidence and courage to stand and dance on the floor as individuals. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
