A little look back at the magic behind “Hello, Dolly!” 🎭✨

One of the special parts of this production was the live pit orchestra led by our Director of Arts, Eric Willoughby. The pit featured student flutist A. deVaux alongside Arts faculty members Billy Flood and Tesia Moss, as well as Murray Arts Academy instructors Emily Hindes and Tisa Schuurman — a beautiful collaboration of student talent, faculty artistry, and community musicianship. These talented individuals helped bring every scene to life and created an unforgettable experience for both our performers and audiences.

We’re so thankful for the dedication, talent, and countless hours that went into making this production such a memorable one!

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL AND SUMMER ARTS ARE ALMOST HERE!

As we close out another incredible school year, we’re already turning up the volume on a summer full of Arts!
Whether your student is ready to take center stage, dance it out, or discover a brand new passion, there’s a place for them this summer at the Murray Arts Center.

Let the creativity continue all summer long!

Seniors, we are so proud of you! As you walk across the stage tomorrow, we pray that His peace washes over you in this new chapter. We pray that you walk boldly into whatever plan He has set before you and continue using your gifts to create, inspire, lead, and glorify Him wherever life takes you.

We celebrated our Dozier School of the Arts honorees whose creativity, discipline, and passion have left a lasting mark on the MPCS arts community. With 38% of the senior class graduating with DSA distinction this year, we are incredibly thankful to witness such an inspiring generation of artists.

From stages and studios to classrooms and collegiate arts programs, your stories are only just beginning. Whether pursuing dance, theatre, music, media, design, journalism, architecture, or countless other callings, we cannot wait to see how the Lord uses your talents in the years ahead.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.

Musician and Chapel Band Teacher, Mark Lee, recently went back on tour with the legendary Christian band, Third Day. He and fellow band members wrapped up their 30th anniversary tour in Atlanta. In fanatic MPCS style, Mr. Lee sported an Eagles football jersey as he signed off the evening's encore. We are grateful for how Mr. Lee pours his vast musical knowledge into our students and appreciate his willingness to share his talents with our school community in so many ways.

“Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” — Matthew 4:19

In celebration of Mount Paran Christian School’s 50th anniversary, our student artists helped bring “Fishers of Men” to life through this beautiful collaborative sculpture installation. From flattening clay and cutting each fish by hand to creating unique designs and glazing every piece, students poured creativity, care, and hard work into every detail.

Under the guidance of teachers Amy Moore, Terri White, and Kelly Tarver, each individual creation was thoughtfully assembled into one breathtaking masterpiece — a colorful reminder of faith, community, and the impact we can make together!
