RoyalTees’ Story

Being born third in a family consisting of nine children couldnt have been easy but

RoyalTee powered through. By 15 he was writing his own rhymes, but at the time the

high schooler was unable to get his hands on recording equipment. So his music sat

nestled into a string of notebooks until he later found himself serving in the Navy. The

pieces finally started to fall into place and within 24 hours of uploading his first track,

D.M.C, on Soundcloud he surpassed 15,000 followers who racked up 200,000 plays.

Now hes putting the final touches on his Spring 2018 release, The Crown Tape.

RoyalTee is unlike many of his peers in that hes got a college education in his back

pocket. A BS in Computer Science Information Technology isnt a common phrase in

the hip-hop community, but this southern emcee is hoping to make it one. He notes, I

want to do something no rapper, does, and that continues school With a BS already to

his name, he wants to continue to do more with his education while simultaneously

working on his music career.

A career that presents a story to tell. RoyalTee makes music to express, not impress.

Its his stories of overcoming the odds, making his own way and persevering through it

all. That&to come from The Crown Tape. As for his debut single, “D.M.C” he

notes, “D.M.C means Devil May Cry so the song is me explaining my situation in

relation to that.” I have been bashed my whole life no matter what good I do because of

rumors said. Like the devil, RoyalTee was hated on without ever getting to tell his side

of the story, but thats changing as his music will recant the tales of his past and move

him forward into a brighter future.

With an education and a raw talent that likens him to Drake and Logic, RoyalTee is the

next rapper in line to make waves in the industry with the upcoming mixtape, The Crown

Tape. RoyalTee promises an entertaining yet fearless set of tracks that showcase his

inability to succumb to the trials and tribulations that have come his way throughout his

lifetime. Despite the constant setbacks, hes looking forward. He plans on earning his

Masters, having a thriving career and giving back to those in need like disabled

veterans.
