I’d like to thank the Kenner Police Department for going above and beyond. Friday at 5:15 am Cera Simoneaux’s car was stolen from in front of my house. The police came out promptly and took a report They told Cera she would probably have the car back by the end of the weekend. We really didn’t think we’d ever see it again. This morning at 4 am Cera got a phone call that her car had been found. At 7:30 am the officer who took the report knocked on our door. He wanted to let her know the thief had been arrested and where we could go pick the car up. We went to pick it up and he met us there. He then helped her to put air in the tires and jump the car because the lights had been left on. He made sure it was running and she was safe to drive before we left. He was very kind and smiled the entire time. Cera went to work and tonight the cars in the driveway. I just was amazed and grateful that this situation ended in a happy note. They are good poorly in this world and I think that when you meet someone who is truly kind and helpful that should be acknowledged. I’m tired of reading and seeing all the bad in the world. Today, we had a early Christmas miracle and I wanted to share it with you
