Today was a great. We went to a Celebration of Life for Jimmy Eubank. He and Bill Hielscher are once again racing together.
The car is going to be the next Mr Bardahl. The plan is to paint it in the Bardahl yellow and black. The band is all into racing. Green Valley Eddie Hill’s newfew. The others are all racers. Saw so many racers to share Jimmy’s racing legendary.

Lots of great Texas Raceway memories. I Sure miss the people. I look back on true race experiences. Oh, they were memorable. The first Pro Mod 3 second run. BHRA races. Jet cars. Winning the Bracket finals. Grudge racing on Sundays. Pushing the curfew oh so many times. Calling the city manager at 11.55p saying we need an extension.

I Would not trade those times for the world. Thank you all for taking the ride with us.

With a truly broken heart we will not reopen. NOW that being said we are working hard to make that an opportunity for someone else to invest and reopen.

My hubby gave up his world when my dad died. It’s his turn now.

I am working hard to wrap my brain around this reality. And I can say it sucks.

Thanks every one. I will never forget everything. I remember the pains and I appreciate your kindness.

Yesterday on the airplane I sat next to a woman. We chatted. Turns out she knew who Shirley Muldowney is along with others. She was more into circle racing but this the second time I was on a plane and folks knew what I was talking with a race track. No not the gas/convenience store. World is getting smaller.

Talk to people about your passion and sport. It’s working.

Today was better car watching than people watching. You can hear the sport cars before you see them. More Mclarens, many porches all different types, a vette I’ve never before seen in a color I’ve never seen. A Maserati. Great sounding cars. I also love the sound of a muscle car but none so far

Hope Santa was good to everyone. Someone must of been good. McLaren sure sounded sweet. Got a little space and was gone.
