Audra’s Studio

Audra’s Studio I'm Audra, and I paint.

Ornaments, earrings, signs, magnets — laser-cut wood that I paint by hand, one piece at a time, which is why no two of them come out quite the same.

He brought his pitchfork. It runs through the whole width of the sign. Watch out for him.

Greyish-white letters, a red devil, and his eyes and teeth glow in the dark.

A coffin, tufts of grass, and a spider web, in rusty red and amber.

Red, yellow, and orange all the way through. The cross glows in the dark.

There’s a black cat curled all the way through this one..

Chartreuse, orange, and deep red, with a little spider tucked in the last O. His eyes and the star glow in the dark.

Little ghost bees, out doing their rounds!

Amber, honeycomb yellow, little blue wings. Both ghost bees glow in the dark.

Boo season is almost here and I have 5 options for you, but you don’t get to see them all at one time.

One sign, every post starting on Wednesday—the last one doesn’t show until the 28th.

Keep following for all the reveals.

A raven, a skull, and a very small book of shadows.

Halloween jewelry has a reputation for being loud — plastic, orange, one night only. This isn’t that. It’s wood, it’s light, and it’s the kind of thing you can wear to the grocery store on a Tuesday in September without anyone deciding you’re in costume.

I painted the whole flock in one afternoon. Blue underneath, silver on top, and a black wash pulled back off the surface so the feather lines actually read as feathers. The moons are hand painted one at a time, which is why no two of them are quite the same.

Small and quiet and just a little bit sinister. That’s the whole idea.

Landing in the shop this week. Follow along so you don’t miss them.

One sign. Twelve months. Zero arguments with the decor bin.

I made this because I was tired of hauling a tub out of the closet twelve times a year to swap one seasonal sign for another seasonal sign. So now the frame stays on the shelf and the front just changes — sunflowers in May, apples in August, falling leaves in September, gingerbread in December, and a little wooden box that holds the other eleven while they wait their turn.

Each insert is hand painted, so they don’t match perfectly. That’s on purpose.

Takes about four seconds to change the whole season.
