🍐😳 Can you believe it?

I stumbled across this video from the **2016 Kelseyville Pear Festival**, and my brain immediately said:

"Oh yeah, that was a couple years ago."

A couple years ago?

A COUPLE?! 😂

Apparently my internal calendar is broken.

Because 2016 was not a couple years ago.

It was TEN YEARS AGO.

Ten.

A whole decade.

An entire generation of smartphones.

Several pairs of reading glasses.

At least three new aches and pains that weren't there before.

And somehow my brain is still filing 2016 under "recent events."

Time is a sneaky little rascal.

One minute you're watching the Pear Parade roll down Main Street, and the next thing you know ten years have vanished into thin air.

But here's the good news:

While time keeps flying by, we keep celebrating.

🍐🎉 This year's Kelseyville Pear Festival will take place on:

📅 Saturday, September 26th, 2026

(As always, the last Saturday of September.)

So mark it.

Circle it.

Put it on your calendar.

Tie a string around your finger.

Tattoo it on your Uncle Bob.

Whatever works. 😂

Every year our small community joins together with friends and visitors from all around Lake County and beyond to celebrate our agricultural heritage, our local businesses, our community spirit, and of course...

🍐 THE PEAR. 🍐

There will be food.

There will be music.

There will be vendors.

There will be pear-themed fun.

And there will be the Grande Pear Parade rolling down Main Street in Kelseyville, a friendly country town.

So if you're part of a business, youth group, nonprofit, car club, horse group, tractor group, dance group, marching group, or just have a brilliant idea involving wheels, costumes, and excessive enthusiasm, start thinking now.

Because before we know it, September will be here.

And judging by how quickly the last ten years disappeared...

It's time to start thinking about your entry for the 32nd Annual Kelseyville Pear Festival 2026 Grande Pear Parade!

That's right, folks. Parade season is sneaking up on us, and before you know it, Main Street will be packed with spectators waving and cheering.

Now is the perfect time to gather your crew and start brainstorming.

Want to build a float?

Do it.

Want to decorate a tractor?

Absolutely.

Want to polish up those classic cars and cruise through town?

We're here for it.

Want to saddle up the horses and ride in style?

Even better.

Want to create something so wildly creative that people are still talking about it at next year's festival?

Challenge accepted.

The Grande Pear Parade is one of the highlights of the Kelseyville Pear Festival and a chance to show off your organization, business, club, or team.

Remember, you don't need a Hollywood budget.

Some of the most memorable entries are powered by imagination, community spirit, duct tape, zip ties, and a little last-minute panic. 😎

So start gathering ideas.

Start recruiting volunteers.

Start collecting decorations.

The Grande Pear Parade is all about community, creativity, fun, and celebrating everything that makes Kelseyville special.

🍐 WELL, THAT'S A WRAP, FOLKS! 🍐

The tickets for the SOLD OUT! - 9th Annual Kelseyville Pear Festival Farm to Fork Dinner 2026 are officially SOLD OUT!

And while it wasn't a record-breaking sellout, disappearing in about 3 hours is still pretty darn impressive. 😎

Apparently, all of you pear-loving foodies were sitting there this morning with your coffee in one hand and your mouse in the other, ready for battle.

Congratulations to everyone who snagged a table!

And to those who missed out...

We're sorry! We truly are.

Unfortunately, we top out at 500 attendees, and once those seats are gone, they're gone.

NOW...

Since we're talking Pear Festival...

Let's circle back around to some very exciting news that may be the answer to the #1 question we get every single year:

"Where do we park?"

For years, the answer has been something along the lines of:

"Good luck."
"May the odds be ever in your favor."

But NOT THIS YEAR! 🎉

This year we have:

🚗 PARKING!
🚌 SHUTTLES!

You heard that right.

No more driving around Kelseyville twenty-seven times hoping somebody leaves a parking spot that's technically legal.

No more squeezing into a space that appears to have been designed for a bicycle.

No more parking three counties away and hiking in.

This year, we're hiring a PROFESSIONAL PARKING COMPANY to help get the job done.

They'll be parking all of you pear-loving peeps on the 7-acre lot at the corner of Merritt Road and Big Valley Road, directly across from Kelseyville Lumber & Supply.

And a HUGE shout-out goes to Mark Borghesani at KVL for making the property available for this purpose. 👏

For just $10, you'll be able to:

✅ Park your vehicle
✅ Hop on a shuttle
✅ Ride to the festival
✅ Ride back when you're done
✅ Avoid the annual parking scavenger hunt

Honestly, that's a pretty sweet deal.

So please help us spread the word!

The more people who know about the parking and shuttle service ahead of time, the smoother things will go for everyone.

We were slammed at first, with 10 Tables of 4 and 7 Tables of 8 being sold by 7:06am!
