FEATURED ARTIST OF THE DAY

Kim Dupuis (Director) holds an MFA in Acting with an additional emphasis in Directing from the University of Florida, and holds a BFA in Acting from Louisiana State University. She has been acting and directing professionally for the past 40 years in different regions of the U.S. Kim has directed and acted in over 100 productions over the course of her career, and she has directed over 50 plays and acted in over 20 plays for The Edge. She teaches acting, directing, script development and other theatre classes at Actor’s Edge Studio, as well as at various higher education institutions around New Hampshire. She is the narrator and voice of 33 different characters in the audio book, Haunted Louisiana, written by Christy Viviano.

Don’t miss their riveting performances!

NOAH CARMEL (DANNY) is grateful to return to The Edge after a few years’ hiatus, having started the “second wind” of his theatrical career at the Edge in Our Town, playing George Gibbs (opposite Grace, luckily enough). In Danny, the small-town old-school romance has shifted into something more sinister and provocative, yet no less redeeming in the end. Other local credits include Angel in the Keene Lions Club production of Rent, Agatha Trunchbull in the Wild Goose Players production of Matilda, and various voices in Under Milk Wood at Actors Theatre Playhouse. Noah is a graduate of the Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and has worked in professional and community theatre for over a decade (if you crunch the numbers), and hopes to continue his theatrical studies in Keene and abroad, while still managing to pay the bills and support his lavish tendencies. In Danny, Noah hopes you find light treading over any darkness, the darkness being ultimately what keeps us from being our best authentic selves.

GRACE JOHNSON (ROBERTA) was last seen on The Edge stage in Marked Women. Past favorite roles include Emily in Our Town (The Edge) Sister James in Doubt (The Edge), Kattrin in Mother Courage and Her Children (Apron Theater Company, Putney), and Feste in Twelfth Night (Northeast Stage, Greenport, NY). She is shaped by her training at Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, MA, as well as by her studies of theatre and psychology (Dartmouth) and dance/movement therapy (Antioch), and by her various explorings, from New England to New York to the US-Mexico border and beyond. Love.
