What an incredible day celebrating the Keene Skate Park! Three competitions, two podium photo ops, countless smiles, and SO much to celebrate.

We love when local youth bring ideas we can help make happen! Huge shoutout to Skyler Quigley, creator of Preesh Skate Wax, for bringing the idea for our inaugural Skate Jam to life.

Thank you to Kathy Burke, JT, Brian Quigley, Matt Phelps, Juan Carlos, our incredible community and national donors, City Staff, and everyone who helped make this park a reality and came out to celebrate. Here’s to the next generation of skaters, new friendships, and countless hours of fun at the Keene Skate Park!

As the nights get cooler and the sun sets sooner, we wanted to share a GIANT SHOUT-OUT TO KPRD YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL! Two leagues serving players in grades 3–8 =practices and games that are a whole lot of work and a whole lot of fun!

A HUGE thank-you to our volunteer coaches for sharing their time and knowledge, to our sport officials for helping keep the games running, to our flag football players for bringing the energy and willingness to learn, and to our families for cheering on these young athletes and supporting KPRD programs!

It takes a community to make youth sports happen - that’s what Keene Parks & Recreation is all about!
