My beloved friend is now my beloved Pastor! After fulfilling my membership class, I received the Right Hand of Fellowship and my membership certificate into St. Matthew AME Church in Orange in service today! (Yes, many ATR theologians DO go to church.) The AME (African Methodist Episcopal) tradition is part of my Dad's family history. It aligns with my personal values I grew up with. Thank you, Pastor Wilson and 1st Lady Leslie. I'm grateful to be part of this loving, progressive congregation that is devoted to servicing the community. The journey continues. Trust the process.
