And last, but certainly not least in our lineup of new cast members, meet Roan! 👯♀️
Back in the 90s, a young Roan Howard decided to try out for high school theatre. Not because he was talented, but because there were only three guys and about twenty girls. With those odds, he figured he had a decent shot at landing a role and, more importantly, a hot date.
Roan did, in fact, land a role: The Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors (again, only three guys). As for the ladies, it turns out the math is stupid.
What he did gain was relentless ridicule from his friends for being a “thespian,” a word they definitely didn’t understand but used with confidence anyway.
Naturally, Roan responded the only reasonable way, by disappearing for a couple decades. During that time, he committed to a rigorous routine of Taco Bell, cold showers, and confidently misunderstanding self-help books.
Then, in early April, for reasons no one fully understands (probably a midlife crisis), he saw an ad for Fake Friends and decided to try again.
So here he is, older, slightly wiser, and finally realizing that maybe it was never about being good, smooth, or even prepared, just the willingness to show up… especially for a bad idea like this.
