Watercolor landscape painting workshop with Kearney Park & Recreation 🎨

🤩Participants explored and experimented with various materials, learning how to master vibrant gradients and "wow" effects like wet-on-wet blending.

🫶Beyond just practicing painting techniques, every child was guided through the creation of 1–2 silhouette masterpieces inspired by a place of their interest (a place they have a happy memory, a place they want to go some day, and even imaginary places!)

It was a joy-filled afternoon painting with these artists!

The April-September PLAY KEARNEY is available digitally at www.kearneyrec.org! We have hard copies at the KPR Office in the Ernest Grundy Tennis Center and other various business locations. The PLAY KEARNEY will also be in the Kearney Hub on Saturday, April 11. Registration begins on Monday, April 13, at 7:30am! Online, Phone-in, and in-person registration available!
