Sol de Janeiro Reception Desk

A two-component sculptural reception desk in our signature Futurewood for Sol de Janeiro’s New York headquarters. One of our largest Futurewood pieces to date, it features a gloss transparent white top over a Kandy base in SDJ yellow, merging warmth, precision, and the fluid logic of .

“Three Hands, Twelve Hours”… a redistribution of time IN space.

This custom suspended light sculpture, designed and fabricated by , was commissioned by Watches of Switzerland for their new retail location at One Vanderbilt in .

The “hands” are fabricated in robotically machined (stack-laminated plywood) and finished in a matte whitewash. The “hours” are illuminated Alabaster spheres.
