24 band entries performed in the state solo and ensemble festival, with 22 receiving a superior rating and 18 of those receiving the highest rating possible, a “straight 1.” Performances ranged from percussion ensembles to small wind ensembles to solos. Carter Crookston, a 9th grader attending Kaysville Junior, also received a straight 1. 2 more entries also received Excellent ratings. Congratulations to all our students and the parents, teachers, and those who have supported them along the way!
