Ivy VanAsten: “My experience being in the Comedy of Errors has been something that I will never forget. This show has helped me grow close to numerous other actors around the area and learn more about Shakespeare and his work. Participating in a show about twins with my own twin has been an adventure. We’ve been able to incorporate so many fun things into this play because of our first-hand experience. Being able to work with so many amazing and creative people has been such a blast. I’m so excited to see this show come together, especially after all the hard work everyone has put into it!”
Isabelle VanAsten: “Summer Shakespeare is by far my favorite show that we do at Appleton North. I love meeting new people from around the area and getting to learn about Shakespeare by performing one if his plays. Out of all the shows I have gotten the chance to be apart of in this program Comedy of Errors is one of my favorites with its creative jokes and loveable characters. I love being able to explore the funny side of Shakespeare and hang out with amazing and creative people. Rehearsing for this show has been the highlight of my summer and I can’t imagine spending it with a better group of people.”
Appleton North's Summer Shakespeare Theatre group will offer public performances of "The Comedy of Errors" between July 18 and 27.
