🎃 Pumpkin Decorating Contest Rules & Guidelines🎃
✨ General Rules
1. **Eligibility** – Open to all dance students, families, and staff of the studio.
2. **Pumpkin Type** – Artificial pumpkins only are allowed.
3. **Decoration Only** – No carving, cutting, or puncturing pumpkins (for safety and cleanliness).
4. **Theme** – Pumpkins must be **dance-inspired** or reflect the spirit of the studio. Creativity is encouraged!
5. **Size Limit** – Pumpkins must be able to be carried by one person. (Approx. under 15 lbs or basketball size).
6. **Materials** – Paint, markers, fabric, rhinestones, glitter, sequins, props, and other craft supplies are welcome.
7. **No Messy Materials** – Please avoid perishable food, open flames, or anything that can rot, melt, or spill.
8. **Original Work** – Each pumpkin should be decorated by the entrant(s). Family collaboration is allowed.
🗓️ Contest Timeline
Pumpkin Drop-Off- October 19th-24th
Display Period: Pumpkins will be displayed in the studio lobby/studio space for until October 31st
Voting Deadline: Teachers will vote on Oct 30th
Winners Announced on social media: Friday, October 31st
Judging Method:
Voting will be done by studio staff
🎁 Prize
The 1st Place Winner will receive $50 off tuition
The Runner Up Will receive $25 off tuition

*All entries will be featured on the studio’s social media – be sure to take a picture with your pumpkin!
