THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported the Improv Box Set: June Collector's Edition last night! We had soooo much fun being silly with you.

Special thanks to the performing teams, Please Advise Improv, Babies - Indie Improv and Hot Stix!

We're very, very pleased to have Babies - Indie Improv joining us THIS SATURDAY (6/23) at 7PM at Prospero's Books!

“Babies are one of KC's longest running improv teams, and they pride themselves on their fast, and fun style of play. Having learned from instructors from around the country, they are well versed in a variety of improv forms, and styles. Whether that be a Harold, a Pretty Flower, or a
form they invent on the spot, Babies are sure to do improv that appeals to both improv nerds, and new audiences alike.”

We're SO PUMPED to have Please Advise Improv on stage for our Improv Box Set: June Collector's Edition show!

Please Advise is a duo who's sick of corporate email buzzwords. But we'll circle back to that later. Kelly and Jill will ask for an event or gathering and use that suggestion to inspire relationship scenes that may or may not put them at the event itself. During their set, they will continue building scenes to create a little world around the event! Sometimes hilarious, sometimes serious, always know that Please Advise will never schedule a meeting that should have been a phone call.

The Improv Box Set

The Improv Box Set is an indie improv show put on by local Kansas City improvisers. Ran out of Prospero’s Books, it’s a monthly show that brings together seasoned, veteran teams, as well as offering an outlet for newer players, and teams to show their stuff. Sometimes, improv can seem like a foreign language to new audiences, but The Improv Box Set is here to help educate the audience on what improv is, all while showing the hilarity that can ensue even if you don’t understand all the mechanics. Join us on the fourth Saturday of every month as we try to rewrite the book on what improv is, and can be!
