Join us this Saturday at Big Dudes Music City for the Community Roots Showcase presented by KKFI 90.1 FM at 1pm. For the month of May our featured artist is Nicki White and the community nonprofit that she has chosen to lift and support is the Heart of America Indian Center d/b/a Kansas City Indian Center. I will encourage you to support them directly.
This is an amazing opportunity to learn a little about Big Dudes, up coming events and services they provide, and meet the fine folks who run the show! You will hear from a representative from KKFI 90.1 and learn more about ways we can support their efforts right here in our beloved city! A representative from the Heart of America Kansas City Indian center will talk about their nonprofit organization and impact. This is all in an effort to lift people up in the Kansas City and surrounding area giving us a greater understanding of how we can help and support each other.
I will be providing a mini presentation on radio promotion for single and album releases. I will have a sign up sheet for those interested and be providing a free 30 minute 1 on 1 for your next release. Engaging in community and NPR affiliate radio stations are the key to growing and expanding your reach locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally too!
This is a growing showcase that’s purpose is to lift people around us with hopes to see them all grow and flourish in this world. Music is a universal language and conduit to make positive change and impact in our communities both near and far.
